The CryoHeat Pro Mod Reverse Shaft Gear Ratio Set (Mid) is a high performance Reverse Shaft / Stage 2 Gear kit. Depending on your application, this will either raise or lower the gear ratio of your Polaris by 12.5% across High Gear, Low Gear and Reverse.

In general:

  • Polaris Ace 325, Ranger 500/570/1000/XP 1000 will receive a 12.5% INCREASE in gear ratio.
  • Polaris Ace 570, General 1000, RZR 900/1000/RS1/XP 900/XP 1000/XP Turbo will receive a 12.5% DECREASE in gear ratio.

This Pro Mod Reverse Shaft Gear Ratio Set is combined 22% lighter than stock, decreasing it’s rotating mass and sending more power to the wheels. Our Pro Mod Reverse Shaft Gear Ratio Set are case hardened 8620 carbonized steel to ensure awesome strength and durability. After manufacturing, they go through our proprietary CryoHeat process. This process stress relieves the entire molecular structure of the part relieving any microscopic impurities and making the part 25% stronger in sheer strength and showing increased wear resistance by over 200%. Followed by our micro polishing that stress relieves the outside surface and also removing blemishes on gear teeth that would normally cause unwanted friction, stress and heat. This ultra smooth surface allows the gears to move effortlessly with significantly less friction and drag, allowing them to run cooler during operation and providing faster acceleration all the way to top speed.
