Introducing the strongest billet aluminum transmission door in the Harley-Davidson industry! The bolt flange is over a half inch thick and the center girth is just under 1 inch thick. The 6061–T6 billet aluminum material has been CryoHeat processed, making it 18% stronger while significantly increasing dimensional stability. Weighing in at 2.59 pounds, our transmission side door will be the hero holding down huge horsepower and torque, while at the same time helping your shifting stay buttery smooth.

The CryoHeat Harley Davidson shifter shafts are the straightest and most durable shafts available. Our 4340 Chromoly shifter shafts have been CryoHeat processed for more strength and dimensional stability. Our shafts do not bend!
During our proprietary manufacturing process, Our shafts are precision ground to size including a gold Titanium Nitride coating that is professionally applied to further increase their slippery smooth shifting characteristics. Both ends of each shaft are threaded for our extractor tools. The extractor tools are the ARP screws used in the transmission to hold down the shifter cam assembly plate. The CryoHeat shifter shafts are better than any other brand on the market.

CryoHeat processing:
Our proprietary process changes the molecular structure by stress relieving the entire part. This makes the metal more dense and much stronger without changing the Rockwell hardness, (this process does not make it harder or brittle). The CryoHeat process takes 80 hours and reaches temperatures of -320° degrees Fahrenheit.
Micropolishing:
Having surfaces with a roughness average of less than 2RA which is basically as smooth as glass and eliminating unwanted friction and drag. This helps the parts move with the greatest of ease, the Micropolished parts slide back-and-forth on the shafts without any burrs or hang-ups, which helps speed up the action of shifting gears making it buttery smooth! The micro polishing process also removes scaling and small burrs from manufacturing the parts. This significantly helps the transmission oil stay clean of debris because there is nothing left to shed off into the oil.
