Polaris RZR Transmission Rebuild & Performance Service

Your Polaris transmission is one of the hardest-working components in your entire machine. High horsepower, oversized tires, aggressive terrain, racing, desert riding, dunes, rock crawling, and hard recreational use can place enormous demands on the gears, bearings, shafts, and other critical internal components.

When it's time to rebuild your transmission, don't settle for simply replacing worn parts and putting it back together.

Give your Polaris transmission the complete CryoHeat performance treatment.

CryoHeat builds and services high-performance UTV transmissions for recreational riders and competitive racing applications. Every transmission we receive is treated as an individual build—not a one-size-fits-all rebuild.

Before your transmission is rebuilt, our team works to understand how your machine is used. Your riding style, terrain, vehicle setup, engine power, tire size, and whether the machine is used for recreation or competition all help us understand the demands being placed on your transmission.

The result is a professionally rebuilt and performance-treated transmission designed around your machine and how you ride.

What's Included in Your Polaris Transmission Rebuild & Performance Service?

This is more than a basic transmission rebuild.

Your Polaris transmission goes through a complete service process that includes detailed inspection, cleaning, CryoHeat processing, micropolishing, and professional reassembly.

The service includes:

Complete transmission teardown
Thorough cleaning and inspection
Extensive visual inspection of internal components
Magnetic Particle Inspection of applicable components
Vapor blasting of transmission cases
CryoHeat proprietary metal processing
Micropolishing of critical transmission components
Complete transmission rebuild
Overhaul bearing kit
Labor for the included rebuild process
Custom setup based on your vehicle and intended application

Replacement gears, damaged components, ratio changes, upgrades, and other parts not included in the service package are additional.

More Than a Standard Polaris Transmission Rebuild

Every transmission is completely disassembled before the rebuild process begins.

Our technicians carefully clean and inspect the internal components to identify excessive wear, damage, or potential issues that may affect the performance and reliability of your transmission.

When applicable, components may undergo Magnetic Particle Inspection, a non-destructive testing process used to help identify potential cracks or discontinuities in ferrous-metal components.

The transmission cases are also vapor blasted to thoroughly clean the surfaces and prepare them for closer inspection and reassembly.

This detailed process allows us to evaluate the condition of your transmission before it goes back together.

The CryoHeat Performance Advantage

Once your transmission has been inspected and prepared, critical components receive CryoHeat processing.

CryoHeat's proprietary metal treatment process is designed to optimize metal components by addressing residual stress and improving the performance characteristics of critical transmission parts.

CryoHeat processing is designed to promote:

Improved wear resistance
Greater dimensional stability
Reduced residual stress
Improved thermal characteristics
Increased component longevity

This is one of the key differences between a standard transmission rebuild and a complete CryoHeat performance transmission service.

We're not simply rebuilding your transmission. We're giving critical components additional performance treatment before the transmission goes back together.

Micropolishing for Smoother Operation

Selected transmission components also receive micropolishing as part of the performance service.

Micropolishing improves the surface finish of critical mating components and is designed to reduce surface friction during operation.

A smoother surface finish can help promote:

Reduced friction between critical components
Smoother operation
Improved surface finish
Reduced wear
Increased component longevity

The combination of CryoHeat processing and micropolishing gives your Polaris transmission more than a standard rebuild.

It gives critical components additional performance treatment before they are professionally reassembled.

Built Around Your Machine and How You Ride

There is no single transmission setup that is perfect for every Polaris.

A high-horsepower desert race machine has very different demands than a recreational trail vehicle. Tire size, engine power, terrain, driving style, and intended use can all affect the loads placed on your transmission.

That's why we want to know about your build.

When sending your transmission to CryoHeat, please provide as much information as possible about:

Whether your vehicle is used for racing or recreation
The type of terrain you ride or race in
Engine power and modifications
Tire size
Vehicle setup
Any known transmission issues or concerns
Your performance goals for the machine

This information helps us better understand your application and the demands being placed on your drivetrain.

What Happens If Your Transmission Needs Additional Parts?

Every transmission is inspected after teardown.

If we discover damaged gears, broken components, excessive wear, or other parts that require replacement, those items are not automatically included in the base service price.

Likewise, optional upgrades, gear-ratio changes, or additional components requested for your build may carry an additional cost.

CryoHeat will contact you regarding any additional parts that are required or recommended before those parts are added to your invoice.

We will communicate with you before moving forward with additional replacement parts or upgrades.

Don't Just Rebuild Your Transmission. Improve It.

A standard rebuild replaces worn components and puts the transmission back together.

A CryoHeat Polaris Transmission Rebuild & Performance Service takes the process further.

Your transmission receives:

Complete teardown.

Detailed inspection.

Magnetic Particle Inspection when applicable.

Vapor blasting.

CryoHeat metal processing.

Micropolishing.

An overhaul bearing kit.

Professional reassembly.

And most importantly, a service process focused on how you actually use your Polaris.

Whether you're building a hard-ridden recreational machine, a high-performance trail vehicle, a dune machine, a desert build, or a serious race application, CryoHeat gives your transmission the detailed attention it deserves.

Don't Just Rebuild It. Give It the CryoHeat Advantage.

Mandatory Work Order Form Required

Do Not Send Your Transmission Without a Completed Work Order Form

A completed CryoHeat Work Order Form is required with every transmission sent to CryoHeat for service.
