The CryoHeat Polaris RZR 4WD ProMod Transmission is lighter and provides faster acceleration all the way to top speed. Our customers world wide are pulling hole shots with over 5 car lengths from when the green flag drops to 100 yards and dessert racers are seeing 8-10 mph more top speed depending on clutch set up. This is the best way for faster UTV by putting less load and duty on the clutch belt. We remove 10 lbs of rotating mass with back-cut gears, three gun-drilled shafts, precision-drilled holes in the gears including the final drive gear and a beautifully machined parking brake. All CryoHeat ProMod transmissions include CryoHeat/Micropolishing processing.
The CryoHeat Process makes the steel parts in the UTV transmission 28-30% stronger, depending on the type of steel. Aluminum is 18-21% stronger. Service life is increased 250% or better, saving you repair time and money. The UTV parts hold better dimensional stability and greater heat dissipation allowing them to run cooler during operation. We have seen over a 50°F temperature drop in the transmission with long distance racing.
The Micropolishing Process allows the metal to move with almost zero resistance. This dramatically reduces the friction that causes heat and drag that slows down the parts reducing the power from the engine. Faster speeds and power gains are achieved with this process.
