The CryoHeat Pro R Torque Plate:
Serious engineering went into making our Polaris Pro R transmission front cover, aka the "CryoHeat Pro R Transmission Torque plate"! Pre-plumbed for oil cooler fittings with two returns back to the transmission. The top return has a 4 mm port spraying oil directly to the high gear and the rest of the gear cluster. The lower oil return port sprays directly into the PTL clutch through our windowed lightweight final drive gear that has been CryoHeat processed for extra strength. The PTL clutch won't overheat due to our scoop gear keeping the clutch oiled consistently. The Torque plate has our quick change trap door with a 23% larger bearing to hold the PTL shaft perfectly in place. The trap door makes for an easy PTL service without the hassle of having to remove your transmission.
No more silicone mess or waiting for it to dry; the CryoHeat transmission cover is O-ringed for simplicity and fast service. We calculated perfect cut outs to remove a substantial amount of weight, allowing more oil capacity and the cover still has the strength to act as a Torque plate and straighten out the entire Transmission housing. In testing with the OEM transmission, we have noticed when under significant load the CVT belt pulls the secondary clutch enough to make the entire transmission flex causing binding in the transmission. The CryoHeat Torque Plate front cover eliminates this issue. We've achieved incredible strength with our Transmission Torque Plate which was proven under serious loads reaching over 1200hp in drag racing applications, mud racing and extreme heat in desert racing.
Throughout the process of coming up with these radical ideas during R&D and using LiDAR a 3D Scanning Tool. We noticed the bearing races on multiple OEM transmission front covers were not lining up to the transmission box bearing races. Since our parts are made with precision cnc machining every CryoHeat cover bearing race will be in perfect alignment with it's mating bearing races in the transmission box.
