The CryoHeat Pro R Billet Transmission Cover:
Some serious engineering went into a block of aluminum to make the CryoHeat Transmission front cover better than anything else! Pre-plumbed for oil cooler fittings with two returns back to the transmission. The top return has a 4 mm port spring cooled oil directly to the high gear and the rest of the gear cluster. The lower oil return port sprays directly into the PTL clutches through our windowed lightweight final drive gear that has been CryoHeat processed for extra strength. PTL clutch overheating problems will never happen with this system. The PTL clutch also has our quick removable trap door system with a much larger bearing to hold the PTL shaft perfectly in place. This makes for an easy service for your PTL.
No more silicone mess or waiting for it to dry; the CryoHeat transmission cover is O-ringed for simplicity and fast service. We calculated perfect cut outs to remove a substantial amount of weight, allowing more oil capacity and the cover still has the strength to act as a Torque plate and straighten out the entire Transmission housing. In testing with the OEM transmission, we have noticed when under significant load the CVT belt pulls the secondary clutch enough to make the entire transmission flex causing binding in the transmission. The CryoHeat fillet front cover eliminate this issue. We achieved incredible strength with this Transmission cover nicknamed the Torque Plate and proven under serious loads of over 1200 hp in Drag racing applications.
During the process of coming up with these radical ideas and manufacturing, we noticed that the Polaris Hardware is significantly out of spec when we scanned multiple transmission, housing and covers. We were able to fix a small issue that the Polaris cover has by properly re-lining the bearing races and because our part is CNC precision machine out of billet material, every CryoHeat cover will be a perfect fit.
