CryoHeat High Speed Gear Shim: CP-PO-6-CH6042
This precision-machined, CryoHeat-treated, and micropolished metal shim replaces the stock retainer clip and thrust washer between the high gear and bearing inside the transmission. It prevents gear misalignment by maintaining perfect tolerance between the high-speed gear and bearing race, while also ensuring perfect alignment for the high-speed dog and six face engagement dog. This eliminates the risk of transmission failure due to broken retainer clips, potentially saving thousands of dollars in repairs. -

CryoHeat HD Pinion Shaft Bearing Retainer Plate: CP-PO-6-CH6044
The CryoHeat pinion bearing plate is over 300% thicker than the OEM stock plate. Our laser cut hardened steel with incredibly strong ARP bolts is the strongest retainer plate you can get for this transmission! The plate and hardware have been CryoHeat treated to make them even stronger than ever. The plate has also been MicroPolished to get rid of any microscopic stress fractures from manufacturing. These extra steps are the reason why so many racers rely on our products. Don’t get scammed on purchasing other companies plates with weak bolts. Their plates will flex, their weak bolts will break and any of this will cause significant damage to the internals of the transmission. The OEM pinion bearing retainer is notorious for malfunctioning and is one of the two weakest components in the Polaris transmission. When it fails, the pinion gear moves away from the snorkel gear and causes immediate damage. Not only will you lose 4WD, but now you have broken metal debris in your transmission getting stuck in between gears. What started off as a great weekend will result in being broken down on the trail leaving you with serious damage, and lots of money wasted on what used to be a transmission. The CryoHeat treated heavy duty Pinion Shaft Bearing Retainer is the solution to kick start your confidence to the next level when you combine it with our CryoHeat High-Speed Gear Shim. Fits: cXP Turb Turbo S RS1 Pro XP Xp 1000 Turbo R All Rangers :- Micropolished surface to eliminate microscopic stress fractures
- CryoHeat treated for maximum dimensional stability
- Prevents pinion gear misalignment and catastrophic failure to 4WD
- Equipped with the strongest hardware parts available from ARP

OEM Polaris Replacement Transmission Seals: CP-PO-6-CH6081
We have done a tremendous amount of real life race testing, and material testing. By far the best seals are the OEM triple lip Viton seals! The difference between Viton and rubber seals lies primarily in their material composition, properties, and suitability for specific applications. Here’s a comparison: Material Composition: •Viton Seals: Made from fluoroelastomers (synthetic rubber). Known for their high resistance to chemicals, heat, and oils. •Rubber Seals: Typically made from natural rubber or synthetic elastomers like nitrile (NBR), silicone, or EPDM. Temperature Resistance: •Viton Seals: Excellent resistance to high temperatures (up to 250°C/480°F). They also perform well in low temperatures. Rubber Seals: (Temperature resistance varies by type) •NBR: to (212°F) •EPDM: to (302°F) •Silicone: to (435°F) Chemical Resistance Viton Seals: Exceptional resistance to chemicals, especially with •Fuels •Oils •Solvents •Acids Rubber Seals: Chemical resistance depends on the type of rubber. For example: •NBR: Good resistance to oils but not to weathering. •EPDM: Excellent resistance to water, steam, and weathering but poor with oils. •Silicone: Moderate resistance to chemicals. Durability: •Viton Seals: Outstanding durability in harsh environments, including exposure to UV, ozone, and weathering. •Rubber Seals: Durability varies; natural rubber is less resistant to weathering, while synthetic rubbers like EPDM and silicone are somewhat better. Cost: •Viton Seals: More expensive due to their superior properties. •Rubber Seals: Generally cheaper. Applications: •Viton Seals: Ideal for industries requiring high-performance sealing, such as: •Automotive •Aerospace •Chemical processing •Oil and gas Rubber Seals: Common in general-purpose applications like: •Plumbing •Food-grade uses (silicone) •Weatherproofing (EPDM) Choose Viton seals for high-temperature, chemical-resistant, and demanding environments. For rubber seals (specific types like NBR, EPDM, or silicone) for cost-effective solutions tailored to less harsh conditions. Stay away from rubber seals for your transmission applications!
